Reporting infringement

Conectico complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent provisions of EU Directive 2001/29/EC. If you believe content on Conectico infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent:

Postal: Conectico Team, Attn: DMCA Agent.

What your notice must contain

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material on Conectico that is claimed to be infringing — include the exact URL or profile/post identifier.
  • Your contact information: full name, postal address, telephone number and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do on receipt

We acknowledge complete notices within 5 business days. Where the claim appears valid we remove or disable access to the contested material and notify the user who uploaded it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was mistaken, send a counter-notice to [email protected] with:

  • Identification of the removed material and its prior location.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your full name, postal address, telephone number, email, and consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If no court action is filed within 14 business days we may restore the material.

Repeat-infringer policy

Accounts that receive multiple substantiated copyright complaints are suspended or terminated, in accordance with Section 512(i) of the DMCA.
