More than thirty years in football, from the pitch to the touchline. As a player he made 256 appearances and scored 93 goals in the top flights of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, took bronze in the Uzbekistan Championship and won the Kazakhstan Cup, earning the Master of Sports title in both countries. His coaching career covered every rung: he raised kids in the Bunyodkor academy and led its youth side to the U-23 title, took Uzbekistan's youth teams to the Asia Cup and the Asian Championship, and was head coach of Kuwait U-19. He has worked with Uzbek top-flight clubs, at the Krylia Sovetov academy and at clubs in Kuwait, where his teams won youth gold.
