3. Legal bases for processing
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following lawful bases: contract performance (to provide the Platform you signed up for), legitimate interests (to operate, improve and secure the Platform), legal obligation (where required by law), and consent (for optional analytics cookies and marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time).
4. How we use your data

- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To comply with our legal obligations and to enforce our Terms of Service.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) other Platform users to the extent your profile and content is intentionally made visible to them; (b) service providers acting as processors on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics), bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations; (c) law enforcement or regulators where required by law.
6. International transfers
Some service providers are located outside the EEA. Where we transfer data outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and apply additional safeguards where appropriate.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards as required by our legal obligations or to defend legal claims. Verification documents are retained for the lifetime of your account plus 12 months. Inactive accounts are reviewed for deletion after 24 months.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and obtain a copy.

- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).
To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encrypted storage of sensitive fields, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and authorities of significant breaches as required by law.
10. Children
The Platform is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
