Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the Conectico platform ("Platform"), operated by Conectico Team ("Conectico", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email or via a platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share credentials, allow third parties to use your account, or create multiple accounts to circumvent any restrictions. Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Corporate and club accounts may be created by authorised representatives. By creating an account on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and payment

The Platform offers a free tier and paid subscription plans ("Pro" and "Elite"). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All prices are displayed in euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial-month refunds are issued for cancellations mid-period.

Refunds: If you are dissatisfied with your subscription within the first 7 days of your first paid period, contact [email protected] for a full refund. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable. EU consumer distance-selling regulations ("right of withdrawal") do not apply to digital services that have been fully performed with your explicit consent.

Price changes: We may change subscription prices on 30 days' written notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date.

Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days. If payment remains unsuccessful, your account will be downgraded to the free tier and access to paid features will be suspended until payment is resolved.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of content you submit to the Platform, including profile text, media, and messages ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Conectico a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and distribute that content solely to the extent necessary to operate and improve the Platform.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to post the content; (b) the content does not infringe any intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other rights of any third party; and (c) the content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose.
• Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate or otherwise harm other users.
• Post content that is illegal, obscene, hateful, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users without their consent.
• Bypass or circumvent any security feature, rate limit, or access control.
• Use bots or automated tools to interact with the Platform without our written permission.
• Sell, transfer, or sub-licence your account to a third party.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's operation.

6. Verification and trust

We may require users to submit documentation to verify their identity, role, or affiliation. Verification is performed manually and we reserve the right to refuse verification, revoke verified status, or suspend accounts based on our review. Verification does not constitute a warranty by Conectico of the verified user's character, qualifications, or conduct.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms or applicable law, or if your activity poses a risk to other users or to the Platform. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your access to paid features ends immediately and your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, nor that any match, vacancy or trial advertised will result in employment, a contract, or any specific outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conectico's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, except where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
