Admission to football schools and academies in Taraz in 2026

There is no single admission deadline for football schools in Taraz: each school enrolls children on its own. Private clubs, which make up the majority in the city, take on new members to their groups throughout the year. Regional sports schools under the department of physical culture and sports more often form groups before the season and announce tryouts. You can enroll a child in almost any month, the only question is which type of school suits you.

A short plan: determine the goal (interest and health or results), choose two or three sections near home, go to a trial session and decide based on the child's impression.

What schools there are in Taraz

In the Conectico catalog for Taraz there are 11 addresses. Most of them are children's football clubs, 5 addresses: four sites of the Hat-Trick network and the Zhas Taraz club. There is one address each for the sports section Daryn football akademiasy, the Tulpar football sports school, the Ulan football school and the Shakh football club. Two more entries are sports departments: Regional Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School No. 5 and Regional Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School No. 8 in the Baizak district. This is the state system, and this is where parents turn with questions about budget-funded sections and regional competitions.

School No. 5 is on Baizak batyr street, School No. 8 is outside the city, in the Baizak district. The full list with contacts is collected in the catalog of Taraz schools.

From what age children are accepted

Each school sets the admission age itself; it is not indicated in the catalog. Private clubs usually open groups for the youngest and teach ball play, while regional sports schools enroll by training groups and work for results. Before your visit, check whether there is a group for your child's age and when the next enrollment is.

How to enroll a child: steps

Choose a district so that the trip to the site takes no more than 20-30 minutes. Open the school's page in the catalog, contact it using the listed contacts and arrange a trial session. For the first session, bring a kit, footwear suited to the surface and water. For enrollment in a regional sports school, a birth certificate and a medical certificate are usually required; private clubs ask for the same when signing up for a membership. The exact list of documents is different at each school.

Is selection required

In children's groups of private clubs, selection is generally not carried out: it is enough to come to a trial session. In regional sports schools, the coach more often assesses physical data and technique, especially when enrolling in older groups and in squads that travel to competitions. How to choose between a club and a sports school and what to look at during the first training session is covered in the article Football schools of Taraz 2026: where to send your child.
