Admission to Samarkand Football Academies 2026
The main football academy in Samarkand is called Samarqand viloyati futbol akademiyasi, and it is the regional academy. It recruits children in two ways: an entrance exam for the academic year and separate tryouts for specific birth years, which run throughout the autumn. In addition to the academy, the city has state sports schools and private clubs, where younger children are more often enrolled.
A short plan for parents: check which birth year the academy is currently reviewing, and come to the tryout at the specified location. If the child is just starting out, begin with a sports school or children's club near home, and come to the academy tryout later.
How the academy recruits children in 2026
The academy announced recruitment for the 2026/2027 academic year with an entrance exam in August 2026. In the summer, document submission was held for certain years: for example, for children born in 2014, documents were accepted from June 15 to July 30, 2026 in Samarkand, Korasuv massif, next to school No. 81.
After the season starts, the academy continues tryouts by birth year. Here is what it published from late August to October 2026:
| When published | Birth year | Where |
|---|---|---|
| August 27 | 2012, 2013 | Samarkand |
| September 2 | 2011, 2013 | Samarkand |
| September 16 | 2015 | not specified |

Then find the current announcement or call the school. For the tryout, bring a uniform, boots, and water.
