Admission to football academies and schools in Atyrau in 2026

There is no single admission period for football schools in Atyrau: each school enrolls children on its own. Private schools and clubs usually fill groups throughout the year, while city youth sports schools and the Neftyanik football school more often hold tryouts before the season. So you can enroll your child in almost any month, and it is more important to choose the right type of school and district.

A short plan for parents: decide whether the child needs football for development or with an eye on results, choose two or three schools near home, sign up for a trial session and make a decision based on the child's impression.

From what age children are accepted

Each school sets the admission age itself. Private schools and clubs enroll the youngest children and teach ball handling through play, while youth sports schools are aimed at older children and at sports results. Before your first visit, check with the school whether there is a group for your child's age and at which address it trains, if the school has several branches.

How to enroll your child: steps

Choose a district so that the section is near home or school. Open the school's page in the catalog, contact it by phone or on Instagram and sign up for a trial session. For the first session, take a kit, footwear suited to the field or hall surface and water. For registration you usually need a birth certificate and a medical certificate; the exact list differs from school to school.

Is selection required

Children's groups at private schools and clubs usually do not hold selection. At youth sports schools the coach more often assesses technique and physical data, especially in older groups. Read more about choosing a section by district and what to look at in the first session in the article Football schools of Atyrau 2026: where to send your child.
