Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the Conectico platform (“Platform”), operated by Conectico Ltd, 25 Football Lane, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Conectico”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email or via a platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share credentials, allow third parties to use your account, or create multiple accounts to circumvent any restrictions. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Corporate and club accounts may be created by authorised representatives. By creating an account on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and payment

The Platform offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (“Pro” and “Elite”). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All prices are displayed in euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial-month refunds are issued for cancellations mid-period.

Refunds: If you are dissatisfied with your subscription within the first 7 days of your first paid period, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable. EU consumer distance-selling regulations (“right of withdrawal”) do not apply to digital services that have been fully performed with your explicit consent.

Price changes: We may change subscription prices on 30 days' written notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date.

Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days. If payment remains unsuccessful, your account will be downgraded to the free tier and access to paid features will be suspended until payment is resolved.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of content you submit to the Platform, including profile text, media, and messages (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant Conectico a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and distribute that content solely to the extent necessary to operate and improve the Platform.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to post the content; (b) the content does not infringe any intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other rights of any third party; and (c) the content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Conectico does not actively pre-screen User Content but reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data about users or the Platform.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or bulk communications.
• Impersonate any person, club, or organisation.
• Post false, misleading or fraudulent profile information or credentials.
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Engage in harassment, abuse, discrimination, or threatening behaviour.
• Circumvent any security, access control, or usage limits.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Platform without our written consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the Platform's source code.
• Use the Platform for any purpose that is unlawful or violates these Terms.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to the Platform without our prior written consent.

6. Verification

Conectico offers optional manual identity and credential verification. Verified status is awarded at our sole discretion and may be revoked if we determine that verification documents were false, misleading, or expired. Verification does not constitute an endorsement of any user or their qualifications. Conectico accepts no liability for the accuracy of user-provided information even after verification review.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform and all associated technology, design, trademarks, and content created by Conectico (“Conectico IP”) are owned by Conectico Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use Conectico IP without our prior written consent except as permitted by law or these Terms.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Paid subscriptions will continue until the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Platform. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data only as required under our Privacy Policy.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — shall survive termination of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Conectico, its directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) €100; or (b) the total fees paid by you to Conectico in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Conectico and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall first be submitted to our support team at [email protected] for informal resolution. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Conectico regarding the Platform and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings.
